Besan nu Shaak is very famous dish mostly enjoyed in Gujarat. Besan nu Shaak is very easy and instant to make recipe.
SERVES 1-2 Persons
COOK TIME 15 Minutes
INGREDIENTS
2 teaspoon of Gram flour (Chana no lot)
1 teaspoon of Curd (Dahi)
¼ teaspoon of Asafoetida (Hing)
1 teaspoon of Mustard Seeds (Rai)
1 teaspoon of Red Chilli Powder (Lal Marchu)
¼ teaspoon of Turmeric Powder (Haldar)
1 No. Small onion (Dungadi)
3 teaspoon of Oil (Tel)
1 Cup of Water
Salt as per taste (Mithu)
PROCEDURE
Mix in small bowl gram flour, curd, green chili, salt and turmeric with cup of water and mix it properly. After mixing heat up mixture in bowl on low flame while continuously stirring it. When this mix turns little thick and changes its color, remove it from flame and keep it aside.
Now heat oil in the another pan and add mustard seeds. When mustard seeds start crackle then add asafoetida, onion, red chili powder, turmeric, salt and sauté for a minute. Add gram flour mix earlier prepared and let it cook for another 2-3 minutes on low flame while stirring continuously. Once ready turn of flame and serve hot with bhakri / roti.
