Bhaat na Puda is a wonderful pancake made from leftover rice, which tastes best when cooked patiently till crisp. Tomato Ketchup / Sweet Curd / Coriander leves Green Chilli Chutney / Chundo is a great combination for this poodla.
INGREDIENTS
3 cups cooked rice (or leftover rice also can be used)
3/4 cup Gram Flour
1/4 cup wheat flour
1/4 tsp asafoetida
1/4 tsp chilli powder
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
1/3 cup curds (dahi)
1/4 cup chopped coriander leaves
1 tsp finely chopped green chillies
salt to taste
3 1/2 tsp oil
PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE
Combine all the ingredients along ¾ cup of water in a deep bowl and mix well & your batter is ready to use. Heat a non-stick tava and add ¼ tsp of oil and let it heat. Now pour sufficient quantity of batter, which is enough to make one puda on it and press gently with the help of the back of the spoon and spread to make shape like roti. Cook on a medium flame till golden brown spots appear on both the sides and puda appears crispy. Serve hot with Tomato Ketchup / Sweet Curd / Coriander leves Green Chilli Chutney / Chundo |
