Cabbage sambharo is nothing but the Gujarati style warm cabbage salad. It is very easy to make and requires very few ingredients. Cabbage Sambharo can be served with gujarati snacks like gathiya, fafada and masala puri or with bhakri and dal for a complete meal.
SERVES 4
COOK TIME 15 minutes
INGREDIENTS
6 cup Cabbage finely chopped (Kobi)
6-7 green Chili cut to small pieces (Lila Marcha)
2 teaspoon of Oil (Tel)
1 teaspoon Mustard seeds (Rai)
1 teaspoon Turmeric powder (Haldar)
Salt to taste (Mithu)
1 teaspoon Lemon juice (Limbu no Rus)
PROCEDURE
Heat oil in a pan at medium flame. Add mustard seeds in oil, when it splutters, add turmeric powder, cabbage, chili, salt in it and stir it properly. Cook for 3-4 minutes till cabbage become soft at low flame. Turn off the flame and add few drops of lemon in cabbage sambharo and mix well. Serve hot with bhakri, rotli or farsan.
