Chorafali / Fafda is Gujarati snack specially consumed on Vijayadashmi and Diwali. This is little spicy and crispy vegan snack.
INGREDIENTS
250 grams Gram flour (Besan)
100 grams Black gram flour (Adad no lot)
50 grams Rice flour (Chokha no Lot)
Pinch of Baking Soda (ENO)
1 teaspoon Oil (Tel)
Salt to Taste (Mithu)
1 teaspoon Red chili powder (Lal Marchu)
1 cup warm Water (Garam Pani)
PROCEDURE
First take gram flour and black gram flour in mixing bowl. Add salt, baking soda, oil and mix well. Add warm water and mix well to make medium dough. Make medium balls from it. Cover balls with rice flour and roll out each roll like thin roti. Cut them in to long strips. Heat oil in a pan at medium flame and fry all strip in it. Sprinkle little salt and red chili powder on fried Chorafali. Chorafali is ready to serve, serve with mint, coriander & green chilies chutney along with tea.
