250 gm Bottle Gourd
50 gm Chana dal
1 tbsp Oil
¼ tsp Mustard Seeds
¼ tsp Cumin Seeds
Pinch of Asafetida
½ tsp Turmeric powder
1 tsp Red chili powder
1 tsp Cumin Coriander Powder
¼ tsp Sugar Powder
1 tsp Lemon Juice
Fresh Coriander Leaves
PROCEDURE:
- Wash and soak chana dal in warm water for 1 hour & drain water and keep a side.
- Peel bottle guard and cut in to small pieces.
- Heat oil in a cooker and add muster seeds and cumin seeds.
- When it spluttered, add asafetida, turmeric powder and chana dal.
- Stir and cook for 2-3 minutes and
- Now add salt, bottle guard, red chili powder, cumin coriander powder.
- Mix well .also cook for 1 minute. Now add little water in it.
- Cover and cook for 4-5 whistle at medium flame.
- When cooker become cool, mix lemon juice and sugar and stir it properly.
- Garnished with fresh coriander leaves with Roti or Bhakri.
