INGREDIENTS FOR FAFADA RECIPE
1 Cup Gram flour (Besan)
1/4 teaspoon baking soda (Khavano Soda or ENO)
1/4 teaspoon of Carom Seeds (Ajmo)
1/4 teaspoon of Turmeric (Haldar)
1/4 Cup of water
4 teaspoon of Oil
Salt to taste
PROCEDURE FOR PREPARATION OF FAFADA
Mix baking soad and salt into water. Add besan and mix well. Now add carom seeds, turmeric, 4 teaspoon of oil and water and knead into a soft dough. Take a portion of the dough and place it on a greased surface. With base of your palm, drag the dough in a straight line, holding the dough at the starting point with the other hand. This will form a strip. Fry these strips over medium heat till crisp.

1/2 Cup Curd (Dahi)
4 Nos. of Chopped Green Chillies (Lela Marcha)
1/2 teaspoon of finely chopped ginger (Aadu)
2 teaspoon finely chopped coriander leaves (Lela Dhana)
1/4 teaspoon of Asafoetida (Hing)
1/2 teaspoon mustard seeds (Rai)
Salt to taste (Mithu)
1 tbsp Oil
3 cups of Water
PROCEDURE FOR PREPARATION OF FAFADA CHUTNEY
Grind Ginger, Green Chillies, Coriander leaves, Mint leaves together and make a paste and keep it aside. Mix gram flour, curd and 3 cups of water in a bowl. Blend mixture using hand blender until it becomes smooth. Heat 1 teaspoon of cooking oil in a pan. Once heated add mustard seeds in it and When seeds start crackling, add asafoetida in it. Now add prepared mixture of curd, gram flour and water in it and add salt and to your taste. Cook over medium flame for around 7 -8 minutes until mixture starts boiling. Stir occasionally to prevent mixture from sticking to the bottom of a pan. Turn off the heat and add previously prepared ginger chilli mint coriander paste in it. Mix well and Fafda Chutney is ready to serve.
