Papad nu Shaak is a quick recipe made from ready made papads. This is usually a tithi recipe for jains, when green vegetables are not to be eaten. It is little spicy and tasty recipe.
SERVES 2 Persons
PREPARATION TIME 10 minutes
INGRIEDIENTS
4 nos. of Moong Papad (mug na papad)
1 tsp Oil (tel)
½ teaspoon Fenugreek Seeds (methi)
½ teaspoon Cumin Seeds (Jeeru)
½ tsp Cumin Coriander Powder (dhana ane jeeru)
1 teaspoonsp Red Chilli Powder (Lal Marchu)
Salt To Taste (depending on saltiness of Papad)
250 ml of Water (Pani)
PROCEDURE
Heat oil in a pan and add Fenugreek seeds to it. When it starts crackling add cumin seeds, glass of water, red chilli powder, coriander-cumin and salt to taste. Once water starts boiling, add pieces of papad and let it cook for a two to three till papad becomes soft and absorbs water. Turn off the flame and serve hot with roti / bhakri.
