INGREDIENTS
- 1/3 Cup Ghee
- 1/2 Cup Rava (Semolina)
- 3/4 Cup Warm Milk
- 1/2 Cup Sugar
- 5 nos of Raisins (Kismis)
- 1/2 Teaspoon Cardamom Powder
- 3 Almonds and Pistachios (Pista), sliced
- 5 to 7 Saffron (Kesar) Strands (optional)
PROCEDURE
- Heat non stick pan over a medium heat, add ghee to it
- Add Rava cook on low heat for 10 minutes or till it becomes golden in color, stir continuously
- Add warm milk and raisins, cook for 3 to 4 minutes or till all the liquid is absorbed, stirring continuously
- Add the sugar, cook till ghee separates, stirring occasionally
- Add cardamom powder and mix well, turn off the heat
- Garnish with sliced almonds and pistachios and saffron, serve warm
