INGREDIENTS
1 Cup Gram Flour (Besan)
1/2 Teaspoon of ENO / Baking soda
1 Teaspoon Lemon Juice
1/2 Teaspoon Ginger & Green Chilli Paste
Salt To Taste
Pinch Of Turmeric
Water To Make Batter
INGREDIENTS FOR TADKA
1 Teaspoon Oil
1/2 Teaspooncumin Seeds
1/2 Teaspoon Mustard Seeds
1 Red Chilli Powder
3-4 Green Chillies
8-9 Curry Leaves
In a bowl mix gram flour, lemon juice, salt, turmeric, ginger chili paste and baking soda or ENO. Add water and make it into a smooth batter. Grease the steaming tin with 2 drops of oil and por the mixture into it. Steam for about 15-20 minutes or till cooked.To check it if it is done, insert the knife or a toothpick in it, if it comes out clean then it is done.
